Sponsorship is a person-to-person form of aid. Unlike our large-scale projects, like building wells or establishing hospitals, sponsorship is a lifeline for one person or family, given with love by you.
It’s a deeply connected way for you to give to someone on the other side of the world – helping them to get an education, feed their children, or pay their medical bills, and reminding us that we should never take our opportunities for granted.
GIVE FROM YOUR HEART
Each sponsorship is entrusted in cash to the guardian, family, or person receiving it. This simple act of trust restores their dignity. They are able to spend the funds on what they need most. It means that your money goes where it matters.
Sponsorships are usually spent on shelter, education, health, food and heating costs. They’re planned to allow people or families to meet their essential costs and live with security.
When you start a sponsorship, here’s what happens:
- You’ll be assigned to the next person or family on our priority list.
- You’ll receive the profile of your sponsored orphan or family (via email).
- Our local partners keep in touch with your sponsored person.
- After 6 months, you’ll get an update on our sponsorship scheme.
- At 12 months, you receive a personalised impact report showing how your sponsorship has made a tangible impact.
OUR GLOBAL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME
Our sponsorship programme is growing, one person at a time! Local teams identify people or families who need regular support. Although we don’t tell them how to spend it, we monitor every sponsorship. You can choose to sponsor a person or family in:
- Lebanon (Syrian and Palestinian refugees as well as locals)
- Jordan (Syrian and Palestinian refugees as well as locals)
- Bangladesh (Widows, orphans, and low-income households)
- Uganda (displaced and under-supported groups)
- Pakistan (widows, orphans, and families affected by poverty)
SPONSOR AN ORPHAN
Your donations have already enabled us to provide sponsorships to 186 orphans in 2025. Every sponsorship is truly a lifeline, giving security and pride to a child who might be feeling lost and uncertain.
For only £55 a month (£660/year), your donation covers essential things like:
- Food
- Education expenses
- Medical care
- Clothes
SPONSOR A FAMILY
Since the conflict started in Gaza, you have helped us to sponsor another 49 vulnerable families displaced in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon.
When you sponsor a family for £160 per month (£1,920/year), you provide them with the means to pay for:
- Daily living expenses (food, rent, utilities)
- Medical needs
- School expenses for children
- Household essentials
It’s the most personal and direct way of giving, allowing one family to rebuild their world with dignity.
