The cause
In the past year, 1.9 million people have left their homes in Gaza. Families have travelled to emergency shelters or neighbouring countries in desperate search of safety. Around 60% of buildings and 70% of crop fields have been decimated; millions are now at risk of famine.
Salam Charity has been on the ground delivering aid to Gaza and the refugee camps in Egypt, supplying essential medical kit, food, and a ray of hope to people who have been devastated by life-changing loss.
There’s a temporary ceasefire, but the situation in Gaza is still urgent. At these events, you’ll have the opportunity to donate a box of food and hygiene essentials, which will go directly to families in Egypt and Gaza.
